Omega Sentinel

Omega Sentinel

While I’m certainly no completist, I do like to bring characters to life that may not otherwise ever see a toy. Bots like Xaaron, Straxus, Jhiaxus (I don’t count the universe Jetstorm repaint), and Impactor now have actual toys and can participate in basement-floor battles.

Omega Sentinel actually played a significant part in the second Transformer novel (Annihilation by David Cain). Here’s the quote that gave me a pretty good idea of what he might look like:

"The Keeper…saw the black and gold monstrosity identified as Omega Sentinel".

This is the type of custom that would have been almost possible were it not for the PVCs. I would guess that most customizers wouldn’t shell out big money for an original Omega Supreme (or Omega Spreem, for that matter) if the only intention was to repaint it into a relatively obscure character.

Here are the colors I used on Omega Sentinel:
  • Chaos Black (Games Workshop)
  • German Grey (Tamiya)
  • Blood Red (Games Workshop)
  • Gold Metallic (Rust-Oleum Specialty Spray)
